Sustainable Places 2020

Beth Whitehead will be presenting “Curving the Line – Circularity in the Data Centre” on 30th of October at 9am (UK time) at Sustainable Places 2020 with the SDIA. This will explore the need to move to a circular model of consumption in order to deal with the large volumes of eWaste generated by the industry and will introduce the CEDaCI project – a Circular Economy for the Data Centre Industry.

Sophia Flucker will present “Total data centre environmental impact” also on 30th of October at 10:30am (UK time). This presentation will give an overview of the current landscape and discuss how data centres can become more sustainable beyond energy efficiency.
